Building Permits & Ordinances
Building activity in Winter Harbor is regulated by numerous Ordinances, which are administered by the Planning Board and the Code Enforcement Officer (CEO). All of the Ordinances and Building Permit Forms are available at the Town Office. A fee of $10.00 is required when the Building Permit is submitted. Failure to obtain a permit and other violations of the various Ordinances carry penalties. Please consult the CEO, Millard Bilings prior to starting any project.
