Any resident of Winter Harbor, 18 years or older, may register to vote at the Town Office during normal hours. You may also register to vote at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles or on election day. You must provide proof establishing you as a resident of Maine and Winter Harbor, such as a Maine drivers license with your Winter Harbor address. If you have a P.O. Box, you need to provide something that indicates the physical location of where you live in Winter Harbor. This could be a utility bill, car insurance, etc.
The Annual Municipal Election of Municipal Officials and State Elected Officials is generally held the second Tuesday in June. The General Election is held on the first Tuesday in November. Voting is held at the Winter Harbor Municipal Building, 20 School Street, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
